I've been working every single day and I haven't had much time to do anything, but I've been dying to go to the beach. But, with my luck the only sunny days are on the weekends when I work ALL day. Why is it still 60 degress and raining in June?!? This time last year I remember it was already 90 degrees. Thanks global warming.

I'm excited about my trip to Vegas. I leave on the 16th. We're going for my best friend's (Gaby) brothers wedding. I'm excited to just lay out by the pool and drink margaritas and have no care in the world. I still have some shopping to do, but I have enough time. I'll take some pictures of the outfits I have planned :)

Shopping in the City

My sister and nephews are in town for the week and we haven't seen each other for about a year. I decided to plan a "Mother & Daughters Day" in Manhattan and it turned out wonderful. The weather was gorgeous and it was a perfect day for shopping. We left at 1 pm and didn't get back until 11:30 pm, but it was a very fun-filled day with a lot money spent on handbags and accessories. I don't think any of us thought we would be out the whole day, but it was so memorable that it didn't matter how tired we were, we simply just kept laughing. 

I've always had a casual sense of style, but don't get me wrong, I love to dress up. I've been thinking of ways to spice up my casual look. I found this on f21 and I thought it was so adorable. I love how they mix the plaid with the rusty brown lace up boots. I never liked to mix black with brown because I always saw it as a fashion no-no, but this picture has proven me wrong. It's also definitely worth the $102, considering we're in a recession.
